This time, the Himachal Pradesh cabinet has launched a scheme called the HP Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme. This scheme will benefit children aged three to six years who are enrolled in government primary schools. This scheme will promote the healthy growth and development of children’s brains.

This scheme has been approved by the Himachal Pradesh state cabinet for children aged 3 to 6 who attend government primary schools. Officially, this scheme was launched on September 22nd, 2022 as part of the National Education Policy. The plan calls for giving the young brain the proper care and stimulation from an early age to promote healthy development and growth. Places that are socioeconomically challenged will be given higher priority and special attention. The government also approved the policy of employing teachers in elementary and primary schools. The education department will draft the recruitment and promotion (R&P) regulations.

Objective of HP Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme

The primary goal of this scheme is to promote the healthy growth and development of children’s brains while studying in a government primary school. In this scheme, the government will hire private tutors to teach, benefiting educational communities such as young professionals, tutors, caretakers, and so on.

• This scheme focuses on the healthy growth and development of children aged three to six who attend government primary schools. This scheme is a critical component of the National Education Policy.
• This scheme will prioritize socially and economically deprived districts and places throughout the state.
• In This scheme, the government will hire pre-primary teachers. The state government will give the hired tutor Rs. 9,000 under this scheme.
• Applicants who have completed a one-year certificate in nursery education, preschool education, or early childhood education are eligible for this scheme through the government-sponsored bridging course.
• The government has approved scientific courses at Tula and Gharan in Mandi, which will enable post-construction and filling.
