Objective Of Delhi Marriage Registration

Before the launch of this service online, residents of the states had to go outside to apply for a marriage registration certificate, which wasted their time. With this in mind, the Delhi state government has launched the Delhi Marriage Registration online. People in the state no longer need to travel outside to apply for marriage registration. They can easily apply for this certificate while sitting at home and saving time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Both applicants must practice Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, or Sikh religions.
  • At the time of marriage, neither applicant should have any spores.
  • Male applicants must be at least 21 years old, and female applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of marriage.
  • Applicants should not be in a prohibited relationship to any degree.
  • Both applicants must be of sound mind, capable of giving consent, and physically fit for marriage.
  • The Hindu Marriage Act requires two witnesses at the time of marriage, but the Special Marriage Act requires three witnesses.
  • An applicant should not be spindles of each other unless each of their respective governments permits marriage.

Apply For Delhi Marriage Registration Online
  • First, go to the E district of Delhi’s official website.
  • The homepage will be displayed in front of you.

Delhi Marriage Registration

  • If you haven’t already, go to the homepage and click New User.
  • The citizen registration form will be displayed to you.

Delhi Marriage Certificate

  • Fill out all of the required information, such as Select Document Type.
  • Enter the Document Number as well as the Security Code. 
  • After filling out the form, check the checkbox.

  • Now, click the Continue button to finish the procedure.
  • After finishing the procedure, log in by selecting the Register Users Login option.
  • Now, select the Apply For Services option. 
  • After clicking, you must now look for Marriage Registration.
  • When you click the Apply button, a form will appear on your screen.
  • Fill in all of the required information, such as the date of the wedding, the location, the bride and groom’s personal information, witness information, and so on.
  • Upload the documents and complete the application form now.
  • Take a printout of the acknowledgment slip that includes the date of your appointment with the registrar.
  • On the specified date and time, go to the registrar’s office with the witness and documents.
  • You can now obtain your marriage certificate.
