This scheme will provide two types of benefits: Basic Benefit Package and Additional Benefits Package-

• The cost of the surgery, implant, and accommodation expenses will be included in the standard Benefit Package.
• The insurer will pay all expenses as stipulated by the concerned organization in the Basic Benefit Package, as well as the cost of medical treatment received by the beneficiaries in the impaneled hospital established by the Assam Government.
• During the three-year block period, coverage will be limited to Rs. 3 lakh per year.
• Additional Advantages The package will include insurance coverage for catastrophic illnesses.
• From the first day, this extra benefits package will cover all ailments.
• Government personnel on pension will be able to join the scheme in the future.
• This approach will also include benefit packages for catastrophic treatments such as transplant surgeries.
• All recipients would be covered for pre-existing ailments under the policy.
• This Atal Amrit Abhiyan Health Insurance Scheme 2024 will also cover Coronavirus illness.
• Outpatient treatment is not covered under this plan.
• Beneficiaries would also be able to receive cashless treatment through an insurance firm under this arrangement.
• The Assam government would also offer recipes with impaneled hospitals.
• The insurance and benefit packages will be completed by a committee appointed by the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Registration Procedure?

The system will be introduced on February 1st, and all state employees will be automatically enrolled by the Assam Government. There is no need to register for the scheme separately because employees are already covered under it.
