Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme: The Karnataka government has announced the launch of the Mathrushree Scheme to benefit all pregnant women in the state. The state government will provide financial assistance of up to Rs 6,000 to all pregnant women in the state through the DBT scheme. Aside from that, the state government provides financial assistance to women who become pregnant under this scheme. Under the Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2024, pregnant women will receive Rs 1000 per month for three months before and after birth.

Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2024

The state government launched the Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2024 on November 1 for all pregnant women in the state. The state government has set aside approximately Rs 350 crore to fund the implementation of this scheme. The state government has gradually increased the monthly payment, now fixed at Rs 1,000 per month. Aside from that, the Mathrushree Scheme Karnataka will benefit families with their first two children. 

Under this scheme, all pregnant women in the state will receive 1000 rupees per month during the seventh, eighth, and ninth months of pregnancy. Additionally, citizens will benefit from this scheme for the next three months after the child’s birth. The amount of benefit provided through this scheme will be transferred to the beneficiary woman’s bank account, and with the amount received, women will be able to receive health-related assistance. Along with this, their children will be able to receive nutrition; according to the data, the cost of each meal will be approximately Rs.21. 

The Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme will provide pregnant women with food for a total of fifteen months, beginning at the start of pregnancy and ending six months after the child’s birth. The state government launched this scheme to provide health care and financial assistance to pregnant women.

The primary goal of the Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2024 is to provide financial assistance to pregnant women throughout the state. Aside from that, the state government will distribute food to pregnant women under this scheme for fifteen months. One of the goals of the Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2023, launched by the Karnataka government, is to ensure that all pregnant women in the state, particularly those living in rural areas, have access to nutritious food at least once per day.

Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme Application Procedure?

The state administration and various agencies are still hard at work finalizing the processes for implementation and application. The procedure for applying to the Mathrushree program is outlined below.

• Pay a visit to the Anganwadi Centre and the ASHA or Auxiliary Nurse Midwife who is closest to the applicant.

• Beneficiaries will receive assistance from these individuals in filling out the scheme application form and submitting it to the Supervisor or ANM for confirmation, along with all required documentation.
